Cartographer: Unity/C#
Working off of a similar base as Planeswalker, the player has the ability to step through a portal (of what origin is still unknown) to embark on fantastic adventures. Whereas Planeswalker revolved heavily around going as far as possible and bringing back new items, Cartographer is more quest/puzzle driven with items acting as gates to new content and completing quests. Events found in the world may require player choice, like to aid a helpless traveler or take advantage of their poor situation, and the outcomes may be different depending on the items the player has during that journey. Battles have also transformed from their previous turn-based rpg style into something more like a scene from Dragon's Lair. As you bring back gear, you become better equipped to venture to more dangerous places to find more interesting events and secrets.
